গোপুদা তার তৈরী বুদ্ধি বটিকা দিতে এলো গদাই-এর বাবাকে। কিভাবে গোপুদা এই ওষুধ তৈরী করেছে তার বর্ণনা দিলো। যাদের এই বুদ্ধি কম, এই বটিকা খেলে তাদের বুদ্ধি বাড়বে। আর যাদের বুদ্ধি একেবারেই নেই তাদের নতুন বুদ্ধি গজাবে। গোপুদার বাসনা, শিয়ালের থেকেও মানুষের বুদ্ধি বাড়াবেন। একসময় গোপুদা ছিলেন তালবেনিয়ার জঙ্গলে প্রজাপতির চাষের জন্য। সেখানকার জঙ্গলে বনের পশুদের রাজা হওয়ার ইচ্ছে হয়েছিল এক শিয়ালের। শিয়ালের বুদ্ধির কেমন পরিচয় পাওয়া গিয়েছিলো সেই গল্প আজ বাচ্চাদের বলবে গোপুদা।
