Nabbing the Retirement Home Killers | Carte Blanche | M-Net

Motivated by money, two young men set out to con their way into retirement villages from the west of Johannesburg to Mbombela in Mpumalanga. In what might have appeared to be just a robbery gone wrong, they murdered two elderly women, were arrested, and while out on bail, killed another. It was such a simple modus operandi that they may have gotten away with many more attempts, were it not for the sharp detective work and collaboration between the community and police that finally put an end to their killing spree. Carte Blanche retraces the steps that put them back in the dock.
