WORLDS LARGEST AND RICHEST FISHING TOURNAMENT | ROUGH INLETS | Boats at Ocean City

Should I travel to cover more inlets?

I traveled 16 hours up the coast to Ocean City Maryland to cover the Largest Billfish Tournament in the World. This tournament is the White Marlin Open where there is millions of dollars on the line. One White Marlin will win one of the teams over 4 million dollars this year.

During the roughest day the only boat I got coming in for weigh in was Michael Jordan's Viking Sportfish Catch 23 which had a $20,000 dolphin on board.

I mainly cover Jupiter Inlet and Boynton Inlet but want to travel to cover more interesting inlets and fishing tournaments. If you have any suggests please let me know.

A bit about my home inlets;
All kinds of boats in Palm Beach County transiting one of the most dangerous inlets in Florida. I would say Boynton Inlet is just as if not more dangerous than Haulover Inlet, Jupiter Inlet, or Boca Inlet. At any given moment, the waves will get the best of unsavvy captains and send them home with a few learned lessons. These boats can get themselves in trouble easily if they don't use the correct speed and choose the right lines at these Rough Inlets. Some weekends there are more awesome boats going in and out its like a boat show. Forget watching boats at the Miami Boat Show, Ft Lauderdale Boat Show, or Palm Beach Boat Show and watch them here.
