Framer Update: CMS Tables

Tables just landed in the Framer CMS, bringing fully customizable data presentation to your no-code workflow. Add tables to any Rich Text field with a single click, then style everything from cell padding to border visibility directly on the canvas.

To get started, open any CMS item and look for the new Table tool in your Rich Text field. Click it to insert a sample table that you can customize with your content. Columns automatically adjust their width to fit your text, and you can add rows or columns by hovering over the edges and clicking the plus button.

Right-clicking any cell reveals powerful options like inserting rows, merging cells, and setting headers. For styling, select your table on the canvas and head to CMS Styles, where you can edit table properties including colors, padding, radius, and border configurations. You even get granular control over inner dividers, choosing between horizontal, vertical, or both.

Want to style text within tables? Double-click to open the CMS overlay, select your header cells, and assign different heading styles. Every change reflects immediately on the canvas, making it easy to perfect your design.

Best of all, CMS tables are responsive by default. On mobile devices, they automatically enable horizontal scrolling so your data stays readable at any screen size.
