Finnegan's Garage Ep.53: Triumph and Carnage at Drag Week 2018

All the busted knuckles and sleepless nights have finally paid off and Blasphemi, my 1955 Chevy Bel Air Gasser has run its first 8 second 1/4 mile pass and finished the entire route at Hot Rod Drag Week 2018. This video goes behind the scenes during the race and gives you a glimpse of what its really like to participate in this grueling road trip and racing event. I also address the Hoonigan callout to race my car, which is once again broken. You can also watch me crash and burn during a footrace with a fan and see my buddies perform a parking lot engine swap in a Chevy Nova at 1:30am on the last day of Drag Week. Last, but in no way least, your faith in humanity will be restored when you see a fellow gearhead gift a super cool replacement 540ci Big-Block Chevy and Tremec transmission to the owner of the Nova after Drag Week is over.
