Johnny Depp, 58, jokes with fans outside the Troubador in Los Angeles. The 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' star joked the city was getting "weirder" when talking with fans. He wore a brown fedora, printed silk scarf, and black coat with aviator sunglasses stopping to sign autographs while thanking fans for their support.

The actor appeared to be in a great mood amid a contentious $50 million defamation lawsuit with his ex-wife Amber Heard after she claimed 'domestic abuse' in an op-ed for The Washington Post. Celebrities set to testify include James Franco, Paul Bettany, and Elon Musk.

The trial is set to begin on April 11 in Virginia.
