Snake Trapping -Post-Hurricane Urban-

This is Post-Hurricane Urban Snake Trapping in South Texas. With the wind and rains, many animals have been displaced which has led to an unusual number of wild animal encounters. This video is in response to moving snake populations and as a helpful technique that can be implemented in hurricane stricken areas to reduce the risks of dangerous bites to oneself, their loved ones, and pets alike.

NOTICE: The use of snake traps in order to remove and relocate venomous snakes should only be attempted out of necessity. Seek the aid of professionals and make sure that any undertaking is both legal and ethical.

UPDATE: For those of you wondering as per Bob's vision, it is unfortunately not as it seems. Though this filming has us up and active once more and he seems fairly functional...he won't be regaining anything but marginal vision in a single eye for the foreseeable future without additional surgeries. Most of these snakes he can at least see the outline of when the lighting is right, but apart from that he is unable to tell what they are or distinguish them at all against uncontrasted backgrounds. He is also only able to use his barely functional, single eye for a few hours each day as it tires and becomes sore. We will have to make an indepth medical update video in the coming month to give more details. Suffice to say that life has been a trial, but we are pushing forward and going to do everything we can to make this work. Thank you all for your help, the kind words that have meant so much and given Bob the support he has needed to get to this point.
