The patriotic anthem "I Vow to Thee My Country" bringing the Ceremonial Funeral of the late Margaret Hilda, Baroness Thatcher, LG OM PC FRS (née Roberts, 13 October 1925 -- 8 April 2013) to a close. Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990 and the Leader of the Conservative Party from 1975 to 1990, she was the longest-serving British Prime Minister of the 20th century and is the first woman to have held the office. A Soviet journalist called her the "Iron Lady", a nickname that became associated with her uncompromising politics and leadership style. As Prime Minister, she implemented policies that have come to be known as Thatcherism.

In death as in life she divided opinion sharply, but love or loathe her, it was impossible to ignore or avoid her. And her send-off will go down in history as an event associated with the highest levels of pageantry that the British establishment could muster.

It is thought we will not soon see her like again.
