The deadly 2013 collapse of Rana Plaza brought global consciousness to the dire working conditions at Bangladesh garment factories. Back then, 60 Minutes got rare access inside the heart of the operations producing goods for Australian retailers.

More than a decade since the tragedy, the world's fashion industry continues to rely on Bangladesh for cheap and fast production. These days, local workers are vulnerable not just to gruelling labour but also international factors like unstable economies and recently, US-imposed tariffs.
