Oddie's Historical Feature - Episode 11

Welcome to another 'Oddie's Historical Feature'!
As well as looking at strange people through history, I'll be also presenting strange but true events that leave many questions unanswered.

It's 1930, Señora Esparza has just reopened her bridal gown shop after a respectable period of mourning for her daughter, who had died after being bit by a venomous spider on her wedding day.
People who stop by to pay their respects, are greeted by a curious sight - a new & very realistic mannequin stares out from the window...their curiosity turns to amazement & fear when they inspect it close up.
