Travel With Torin, Episode 48 / Road Journal Vol. 1 "GLAMPING IN TAUPO, NEW ZEALAND"

Here's a little something more recent for you all. Now that we are able to get out and about within New Zealand, road trips seem to be on everyone's agenda. We are no different.

Our first roadie was a North Island New Zealand loop, and our first stop was a glamping site in Kinloch, a farm town about 20 minutes outside of Taupo.

The pictures look amazing, but there weren't many reviews as this glamp site had been completed shortly before lockdown, and then it had been winter, so this was really a maiden voyage of sorts. We weren't the first, but we were early adopters all the same.

And boy were we glad we went for it. This place and this experience were beyond what we could have hoped. Peaceful, comfortable (albeit cold), so many things were thought through by the owners.

Just have a look and try to get just a little piece of understanding of how wonderful this experience was.

About Us:

We are a family of travel addicts, and we more or less gear everything we do in our lives towards traveling. As a result, our son, Torin, has become an expert traveler by the age of 7.
