Medical Pedicure **A Podiatrist vs. A Nail Salon** What Is the Difference?

A Medical Pedicure by a podiatrist is in some ways similar to what a pedicure by a nail salon is also. The difference is a podiatrist can diagnose medical conditions and treat a very high risk foot.

The goal of a podiatrists or foot doctor's office is not to make your foot look great. There is no foot bath, there is no fragrances, there is no fragrances.

The goal is to 1st make sure you don't have an infection, the second goal is to make sure that you don't have any wounds, any pain or anything causing you damage.

If you have a wart or other medical condition, we can help you with that, but if you have nothing medical going on,m then it is definitely not something covered by insurance.
