TREATING HAND FOOT MOUTH DISEASE & IMPETIGO! | HARDEST WEEK EVER!

Today’s video is all about hand foot mouth and impetigo. I discuss ways we can prevent it and how to help get your little ones better if they come down with it. Many people do not know what hand foot mouth is so I wanted to do a video all about our experience to help bring awareness to it. It's a common disease that heals in about a week. Some cases will be easier than others. Unfortunately Ryleigh’s case was a bit more extreme due to her getting impetigo which is a bacterial infection that tends to go with impetigo if the child is prone to eczema. It was an extremely hard week for us due to her fever for 3 days and then treating the bumps and sores. My sister's experience was far less easier due to her exclusively breastfeeding. Im hoping this video helps other moms and just remember that a positive to them getting HFM is that their immune systems will be that much stronger. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Also always go to your pediatrician to get a solid diagnosis and to have them answer any questions you may have.
