Leslie Dan: Erection of a Major Steel Beam at the Roof of the Atrium
Construction of the Leslie Dan School of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto, designed by Foster+Partners. The choice to use steel for the roof of the atrium allowed for the 6 storey space to be completed without shorting. This video shows the lift of one of the beams.
