[BP] 에픽 롤러 코스터(Epic Roller Coasters VR)

놀이동산의 롤러코스터를 VR로 즐길 수 있게 만든 게임.

가장 궁금한 것은 롤러코스터를 타며서 느끼는 속도감이나 가슴이 철렁 내려앉는 느낌이 있느냐는 점.

결론은 가끔 느껴진다.

롤러코스터와 달리 고정된 상황에서 어떻게 속도감과 부유감을 느낄 수 있냐고 하겠지만

화면에 집중하다보면 정말로 순간 순간 느껴질 때가 있다.

컨트롤러 진동이 실제 흔들림을 대체할 수는 없지만, 롤러코스터가 정점에 올랐을 때 내리막으로 가는 기분이 살짝 느껴진다.

물론 실제 롤러코스터만큼은 아니다.

반대로 가상현실이기 때문에 실제 롤러코스터보다 좋은점도 있다.

롤러코스터가 설치될 수 없는 장소에서도 즐길 수 있다는 점.

좀비로 가득찬 도시나 공룡이 출몰하는 숲 속, 화산이 폭발하는 지역 등 가상으로 잘 꾸며 놨다.

나온지 오래된 게임이라 그래픽이 살짝 아쉽기는 하지만 이후에 등장하는 게임은 현실감이 더 높아질 것 같다.

단점은 아무래도 빠르게 움직이다보니 진짜 롤러코스터를 탄 것처럼 속이 좋지 않다는 점.

추천 코스는 공룡, 아마게돈, 설원과 서부.

게임을 할 때 타이밍을 맞춰서 누가 선풍기로 바람을 불어주면 더 실감날 것 같음.

이 게임의 가장 큰 장점은 그냥 아무 것도 하지 않아도 된다는 점,

추천 : ★★★◐☆ 초보자도 가능. 코로나 19 상황에서 집 안에서 롤러코스터를 탈 수 있다.
