Take it in a lighter tone. Those people who have asked these questions they had their mobile in their hand they were browsing through solutions and they had a question that how do I stop my child from browsing so that he doesn't use the digital medium. I think 80% of you if you been truthful you'll say yes. So as they say charity begins at home I would say change begins with the parents it is an era of digital medium. It is an era in which we all went through the covid where children needed their laptops. it is an era where schools have decided to communicate with the parents on WhatsApp groups. It is an era in which children are doing their homework submitting their files online on a computer or a laptop which is provided and is mandatory from the school side and also for your parents. It is also an era of remote relationships father works in one city mother works in the other city children live with either of them and the only me medium to communicate with each other is a digital device. We cannot deny this reality . And because of this reality you know when we pick up one end of the stick the other end of the stick has to come with it. So what is required is not a curtailing completion we cannot do without it and when we use the word balance. Again balance is a word sounds good it's very relative because you need your work to be done you need your children's work to be done and everybody in this current era needs that medium to be able to you know go ahead. I suggest for anybody who would ask me for this is that you must have pockets of digital fasts. That's the first thing I use the word fasting as you go without food try and go without devices. So please have pockets of digital fasts in the family all of you together decide no mobiles on the dinner table all of you can decide no mobiles Sunday first half you can decide that nobody will open their devices or the Wi-Fi of the house will be shut after 9:00 p.m. you can work early in the morning some people have late night calls again see however much I answer this question there are always going to be those little question marks propping everywhere. Because we working almost 24 hours a day in different shifts but what I'm trying to say is please get the gist of try and have a fasting but that fasting should be across the family it helps. All digital devices they radiate light it's a blue light it gives my eyes a signal to be awake when I need to sleep I need serotonin when I need to get up I need to have that kind of sleep for melatonin there is an enzyme in the brain or a hormone it is not going to come until unless the light is shut off. So that is number one it makes your brain very very wakeful it does not allow your brain the rest it needs to perform better the next step. That's number one number two the posture in which we consume however much you raise your laptop however much you hold your mobile up. However much you try not to do that people are coming to us with a lot of shoulder and arm issues finger numbness this is related to holding the device or the handling of the device as I would say. And third is the content itself the more you're on a screen you will consume content if you go to a restaurant or a buffet you tend to over eat the only way to fast is to stay away from your dining table or this thing the same thing should be done with information overload. The more you're on the digital platform you will consume content and that content will not make your life happy. It'll only confuse you more it'll only make your life look more and more tougher. But it's very simple try and have pockets in which the whole family tries to have time together without having to look into screens and once you start doing it people around you also start knowing that from this time to this time he's not going to be available. Once you start having a routine and a rigorous one at that you start enjoying the time you start also enjoying the fact that you've got time which the eyes are resting. The brain is happier and you've got something better to do than to be looking at content . So to try this if it doesn't work then you will see again.
