Every second, 50 million cells divide in your body. Your 2-meter-long DNA is copied and equally distributed into 46 chromosomes for two new cells. And this happens almost flawlessly.
How Does This Order Work?
1. Instant Correction When Errors Occur
If a wrong letter (nucleotide) is added during DNA copying, special enzymes go back and fix it. The error rate drops to 1 in a billion. This is order maintained despite the law of entropy (disorder).
