Okay, here's a truth. The Bible is the most banned book in human history. Google it. Look it up for yourself. It has happened in countries like China, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, and the Soviet Union, and now in the United States of America. Did you see the news story that just came out? The Davis School District in Utah has removed the Bible from elementary and middle schools for use of, quote, vulgarity and violence. All of this comes because one parent spoke up and made a complaint. And here's what they said. You'll no doubt find that the Bible has no serious values for minors because it's pornographic. Here's what the parent emphatically said in the letter, get this porn out of our schools. Here's what the Bible says Colossians 2, 8, don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophy and high sounding nonsense. that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. This is exactly what's happening. It's nonsense and it's happening more and more and more all throughout our country. Jesus himself said the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing and violent people are attacking it. It happened back in Jesus's day. It's still happening today. And that's why if you're a follower of Jesus, it's time. to take a stand for the Bible. And I'm not necessarily talking about protesting, although that's fine. If you want to go do that, I'm talking about professing. Here's your homework assignment. Tell someone you believe it and see what God will do with your voice when you speak out.
