A mule ride to Grand Canyon’s Phantom Ranch

Continuing on our great US tour. A bucket list item completed!

I visited the Grand Canyon about 12 years ago and decided then if I was her fortunate enough for another trip I wanted to go to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I was lucky enough to make that dream a reality. There were only 3 ways I could find down: hiking, mule ride or rafting. All were sold out but I stalked them all daily for months just waiting for a cancelation. Finally I secured a mule ride. I wasn't aware how sore we'd be after a 5 hour ride down into the canyon but it was totally worth it.
