2021 Low Rider S (FXLRS) vs the NEW 2021 Street Bob (FXBBS)
This is a quick comparison of the 2021 Low Rider S (FXLRS) and the new 2021 Street Bob (FXBBS)
I take a minute to discuss some of the things that make these bikes different and I give my thoughts on whether or not the Low Rider is worth the extra $3,000 difference.
Just to list a few of those differences-
- Inverted SHOWA front forks at a 28degree rake vs the standard fork setup and 30 degree rake on theStreet Bob 114
- Dual BREMBO calipers and floating disk rotors vs the single BREMBO caliper with standard rotor on the Street Bob
- Larger fuel tank at 5 gallons vs the 3.5 on the Street Bob (this could be a minus if you like the sleek look of the street bob
- Larger front and rear fender (again, depending on the look this could be a negative for you
- 180mm Michelin Scorcher in the back and 110mm Michelin Scorcher up front vs the 150mm Dunlop rear and 100mm Dunlop front on the Street Bob
- Lower ground clearance at 4.7” vs the 4.9” on the Street Bob. This leads to a lower center of gravity for the Low Rider. Somehow the Low Rider still has a greater lean angle of 30.1 degrees vs the 28.5 degrees on the Street Bob.
These are just a few of the differences between the two bikes. If you’ve got more questions about these two call or email me!
