In this clip, DL Hughley gave his take on interracial couples. For DL, he's personally never been with a woman who wasn't Black but he said that wasn't a sign of anything he had/has against women of other races. He does believe that in the future race won't matter in the same way it does today because of the interracial mixing that is occurring today. But he noted that despite the somewhat commonplace sight of an interracial couple doesn't necessarily represent acceptance.
Later in the clip, DL broke down the "one-drop" rule which was used to determine if someone would be considered Black or white in early America and the ramifications of that ruling.
