Christianity Is *NOT* About That

Christianity is *not* about coming to Jesus for happiness, a more moral existence, nor freedom from “generational curses.” Or, favor in finances,
health and healing from trauma. Those may be byproducts but they are *not* the central theme. Christianity *is* about the forgiveness of sins, for Christ sake and service unto neighbor, for your their sake (as unto the, Lord). God provides that forgiveness based on Jesus’ finished work. By His Holy Spirit. Delivered through Word and Sacraments (Baptism/The Lord’s Supper). That we receive by the gift of faith. The 3rd Person of the Trinity sets the Christian apart with a new identity, in Christ. Supplies energy to us to help others and to be a witness of Jesus the Christ on earth.
