Marcelo Garcia is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Fabio Gurgel. Marcelo Garcia is a 4 time ADCC Champion and a 5 time Black Belt IBJJF World Champion. Marcelo is also sometimes called "Marcelinho". He is associated with Team Alliance and now has his own school in New York. He is known for his high elbo guillotines (Marcelotine), arm-drags, X-Guard, Butterfly Guard, and Mata Leao (RNC). Marcelo was a huge inspiriation for me and many others.
