Speed limiter proposals announced for repeat offenders in NSW

Sky News host Caleb Bond condemns the proposals to fit speed limiters on the cars of repeat traffic offenders to prevent them from exceeding the limit.

“It becomes every time someone is done in court for speeding, they have a speed limiter put on, and then it becomes we could just stop speeding altogether if we fitted every car with a speed limiter,” Sky News host Caleb Bond said.

“Don’t believe that they wouldn’t do it if they had the ability to do so.

“Speed limits are too low.

“Cars are infinitely safer today.”
