Allan Schiller plays for patients and visitors

Today professional musician Allan Schiller has been entertaining patients and visitors in the Brunel building at Southmead Hospital.

Allan has worked with all the leading British orchestras and has toured Canada and the USA, as well as playing in Germany, Switzerland and France. He’s also performed for the Queen!
Our Fresh Arts initiative uses arts to promote health and wellbeing, and includes a programme of live music performances in the hospital -which patients, staff and visitors love.

Live music is a great vehicle for patients to be transported beyond the hospital, helping them to relax and to enhance their wellbeing.
