James Cleverly described Stockton as a 's***hole', Labour MP claims

A row has broken out after a Labour frontbencher claimed James Cleverly called his constituency a “s***hole” during Prime Minister’s Questions.

Alex Cunningham said the Home Secretary, who has been in the job just over a week, was “clearly unfit” for office given his alleged remarks about Stockton North.
‌
He had asked Rishi Sunak why a third of children in the constituency live in poverty, to which he claims Mr Cleverly heckled: “Because it’s a s***hole.”
