Rope tow rescue from Iceland river near Landmannalaugar

We noticed the blue 4-wheel vehicle moments before it entered into a deeper part of the river as it seemed to be driving down the river a bit fast for the conditions. Everyone else was crossing the river. Luckily for these guys, Icelandic SAR was close by to pull them out. I was a bit worried about the rope snapping and hitting the guy on the "tow" truck.

Landmannalaugar is a region near the volcano Hekla in the southern part of Iceland's highlands. The Landmannalaugar area is a popular tourist destination and hiking hub in Iceland's highlands which is only reachable via 4-wheel drive cars with high clearance due to the numerous river crossings.
