Improve Your Art with 3D Models #Shorts
You may think that posing a 3d model and then drawing over it is cheating but it’s not. Happens all the time. In fact some programs like CLip studio come with 3d models already built in for this exact purpose. I do this all the time. Figure out my pose, then I simplify it, maybe tweak something to make it more cartoony or match my style and boom, a much better illustration than I would have had, had I not used a 3d model as a reference. I like to pull in 3D models into the iPad app Procreate as a reference.
