From The Vaults: Walter Hamady and the Perishable Press

In this segment of From the Vaults in RBSCD, Stephanie Stillo is joined by Emily Moore to explore the archive of artist Walter Hamady. Hamady, founder of the Perishable Press and Shadwell Paper Mill, is best known for his artists’ books and fine letterpress publications. The materials of the archive run from the late 19th century through 2018 and include correspondence, artwork and Hamady’s personal library.
