Grabbing a Quick Bite at Park Café at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, Netherlands

We made a stop at Park Café for a quick bite to eat—located inside Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Plaza in the Netherlands—right before we journeyed back to Iceland. Our ordered was two well-done burgers with the works (cheese, mustard, mayo, pickles, tomato, lettuces, and chips). They were very delicious and well seasoned. Burger bun also had a really nice, soft taste as well. We also got chocolate muffin for dessert which is in the clear bag in the video.

While waiting for our food to get done, we chatted with the cook on politics, where we're from, and how often we travel. He then wanted us to guess where he was from. Little did he know, figuring out where people are from at a glance is a game we play often—like it's our job. We replied,
"Are you from Asia?"

He replied, "Yes, but which part?"

We answered, "The Philippines."

He smiled and turned around to finish cooking. Too funny. Game over, with two points on the board for us!

Yes, the food at the airport is extremely expensive. For us, our motto when traveling is "Good food to replenish your energy out weighs the cost." Especially if the hotel we've booked may or may not have a restaurant onsite. When you're in a foreign country it's best to find food when you see it. Store hours and the types of food available are totally different in each area.
