Smålandsväv

Smålandsväv is a beautiful, distinctive textile and its creation is a great introduction to double-harness weaving (no drawloom required). The complex patterning is threaded onto the loom, allowing for a stunning variety of designs across the warp. In this video, we examine the structure of the cloth; design considerations; and loom setup. The video concludes with a weaving demo.
