Is Eric McClure... ok?...

I didn't have a big video planned for this month, but after some searching regarding this topic, I decided to upload this video that I had originally made for myself...

Video backstory: So after the Brian France reaction binge watch event of early last month, I found myself researching former drivers of the past, you know, just to see where they're at now... One of the first drivers I found myself searching was Eric McClure, a former Xfinity Series regular unfortunately most known for that infamous Talladega crash in 2012.

So when I came across the headline that he was arrested for domestic abuse from February 2018, I searched that to see if it was real. Well it was, but then I decided to search further on Eric's past because I felt like there was more to the story...

& I'll be honest; He's went through WAY more than I had initially remembered throughout his racing career (Let alone his life)... He's had at the very least 4 concussions & countless illnesses since 2009, & in today's day & age, having more than 1 concussion is a massive concern amongst us today.

Long story short: I fear for Eric McClure's mental health...

There are other drivers I had also searched, but not to this extent. The only other driver I searched that I had a major concern for was Jerry Nadeau, but it looks like he has gotten better as he can be, making me feel better for him... but I can't say the same thing for Eric McClure...

The day before I uploaded this video, I rechecked the Instagrams & saw a post from Miranda McClure's Instagram in which her comment indicated to me they more than likely have separated:

At 33:45 of this video, which was completed on September 3rd by the way, I stated that I wasn't sure if they were still together or not. I think the comment from that Instagram post answered that question... However since February, there is absolutely no word on Eric, & to be honest, if they have separated, I rather not have Eric by himself for safety reasons. Before you ask, let's just say flashbacks of the stories of Ray Combs & Leeroy Yarbrough at the end of their lives came to my mind, but probably worse in this case...

My comment from another Eric McClure video (That for some reason won't appear when I log out):

I'm gonna be honest here... I'm VERY concerned about Eric McClure's mental health. He's had at the very least FOUR concussions (Three in a year & a half nonetheless; August 2010, July 2011, & May 2012... The fourth being in September 2015), has also dealt with countless illnesses, & I think he still deals with the Epstein-Barr virus to this day.

All of his major injuries & illnesses that I'm aware of have occured since 2009, & that Talladega 2012 crash obviously did a lot to him & even he admitted that crash changed him a lot; A lot of it NOT for the better.

Eric is known for his faith & for being a family man, so I see no way the Domestic Abuse thing would have happened unless there was something badly wrong with Eric and/or his mind/brain, especially considering he & his wife Miranda have been married since 2004.

... I just hope that things are better for Eric & his family, & I really really hope that Eric is/will be truly ok, even though I have a feeling deep in my heart that he isn't...
