Making a scrapwood chaos bowl pt: 1/2
In this first of a two video set, I attempt to reduce my scrap inventory by making a chaotic patterned bowl using the economy or bowl from a board technique. I've tried this before and had an explosively catastrophic failure at the lathe after investing a ton of labor. Lessons learned and applied from that experience. In this first video, I do what felt like an infinite number of glue ups with scrap to then cut into half disks at the bandsaw. In the next video, I glue those half disks into circles, glue them up into a bowl and then turn and finish.
