Flamenco Guitar Tremolo for Solea

Do you know the difference between Flamenco and Classical Tremolo technique? Flamenco is 5 strokes per beat and classical is a 4 strokes per beat technique. So basically Flamenco tremolo just throws in an extra index finger before the traditional classical version. Which do you prefer???
