Tarsal tunnel and tibial nerve entrapment

The flexor retinaculum of the ankle forms a tunnel between itself and some of the tarsal bones. This ties down some of the tendons running from the leg to the foot, and the tibial nerve and posterior tibial artery and vein pass through here.
