What is going on with STAR WARS, Pedro Pascal and The Mandalorian REVEALED?

Following Grace Randolph’s report that Pedro Pascal had become difficult on the set of the Mandalorian, and might no longer be involved with the series, rumors have run wild. We’ve previously chimed in in with what we had learned more about the matter, but recently, more information has some come to light, curtesy of Overlord DVD.

In this update, @AndreEinherjar will begin by very briefly recapping what is alleged to have happened, before going through the most recent rumor of what really might have happened.
Then he’ll give his take on why the solution they appear to have found is the perfect one, and why it alone signifies that Star Wars is in much better hands under the stewardship of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, than it ever was under Kathleen Kennedy.
