Thorn in My Pride - Lexington Lab Band

With our 24th episode the Lab Band takes on The Black Crowes, often heralded as "the most rock 'n' roll band in the world". With 8 studio albums and over 30 million records sold worldwide the brothers Chris and Rich Robinson took their inspiration from the 1970's-era blues rock and morphed it into their own brand of southern rock 'n' roll. Hailing from Atlanta Georgia, the band released their 1st album, Shake Your Money Maker, in 1990 and produced such hits as Hard to Handle, Twice as Hard and She Talks to Angels. We chose to focus on material from the first 3 albums and are excited to have guest artists Vincent Grino (percussion), Katie Feola (vocals) and Carson Childers (bass) join us for the first time!
