How to Calibrate a High Frequency Current Clamp and create its Transfer Impedance Zt

In this video Dr Ali Seyed Ali Shirsavar from Biricha will explain how we calibrate and then measure the Transfer Impedance plot (Zt Plot) of an EMC current clamps.

We describe why we need calibration, what is a calibration test fixture and how it is actually done in real life.

As it is common in our videos, we will then show a real measurement in our lab and show experimental results using a Bode500 and a calibration test fixture.

Please note that the plot shown in the video does not take into account the presence of the 50ohms termination resistor. Therefore to create the correct Zt plot you need to add a constant gain of 34dB to the measured results. Please see:
