The Elephant Sanctuary | Minnie's Creamsicle

Minnie snacks on a “creamsicle" layered with orange slices, freshly squeezed orange juice, orange zest, and a popsicle stick crafted from donated Bradford pear limb! The frozen treat was quite the match for Minnie at first, who tried banging it on the ground with her trunk, throwing it, stepping on it (with both feet at once!), and even using the steel fence to try to crack it open. Eventually, she resorted to sucking out all the fresh citrusy juices with her trunk and then eating the rest in one bite as it melted.
