Drag & drop clip from media bin to timeline. Click on the play button to preview the clip.

Same way you can add more clips on timeline,

Or take the playhead where you want to add the clip.

Right click on the clip in media bin and click on add after current clip.

Or right click on the clip in media bin and click on add at the end of timeline.

Right click on the clip and click on add to current position.

To delete clip click on it on timeline to select it and hit delete key on keyboard.
