Explanation of :DJF / MAM / JJA / SON

These are standard climatological seasons used in meteorology, particularly for the Indian subcontinent. They represent different seasons of the year based on temperature, precipitation, and other climatic conditions.
1. DJF – December, January, February
Winter season in many parts of the world.
In India, this is typically the cool dry period.
2. MAM – March, April, May
This is the pre-monsoon or hot season.
The temperatures start rising, and regions often face high heat and dry conditions before the monsoon arrives.
3. JJA – June, July, August
This is the monsoon season.
Heavy rainfall is typically observed due to the southwest monsoon winds.

4. SON – September, October, November
This is the post-monsoon season.
While the monsoon rains start to taper off, regions often experience lingering rains, especially in September.
