Norupo - Heilung Lyric Video

Lyric video for Heilung's 'Norupo', which is based off of the Norwegian Rune Poem. I picked the visuals to match the lyrics as best as I could (the horse for Loki, for example, alludes to the myth where he transformed into a mare).

Kai's lyrics were very hard to determine, as I could not find any confirmations of what he was saying (even asking through the band's Facebook page). As such, since I was convinced I could hear 'Sigurd' and 'vinur' (a Norse hero and the Icelandic word for 'friend') I pursued the route that Kai was talking about some of the legends of Sigurd, who learned the runes from a valkyrie and was eventually killed by his friend, Gunnar. In Icelandic, the lyrics should roughly translate to: Earned [the] runes [did] Sigurd. Go get your good friend, Gunnar.

Since English translations for the rest of the poem are easily found, I elected not to post them here.
