After 30 years of not knowing who my biological father was I did a search on Facebook and send a message to a man who I had a pretty good hunch was my father based on dates, looks, name etc.

This video was was filmed right after the DNA test came in the mail. I was actually on the phone with my father while I swabbed my cheeks.

For others who can relate to this situation and have been on the fence about reaching out to a birth parent or family member I hope this gives you hope, courage or maybe peace wether you decide to reach out or not. It's a very personal and heavy situation and I wish you all the best in your journey
