Departing from my regular uploads of outstanding solo female vocal recordings is this exquisite video of Connie Francis and Perry Como singing "Anniversary Song" in both Yiddish and English.
"The Perry Como Show" was one of America's most popular television programs of the Fifties and Sixties, and on which Connie guested on four occasions. This particular show was aired on December 28, 1960 — the year she entered the record books as the first female singer to have back to back #1 hits in the Billboard Hot 100 charts with "Everybody's Somebody"s Fool" and "My Heart has A Mind Of Its Own".
