DRZ400SM MRD Z-Pro Shorty Exhaust vs Stock Exhaust

This is a video comparing the MRD Z-Pro Shorty Exhaust with stock exhaust. The same equipment and setup was used to record the entire video. I've tried to keep as many variables constant as possible. I have the JD Jet kit, and 3x3 mod done to the bike to support the upgraded exhaust. I'm using the 170 main jet, 25 pilot jet, blue needle, 4th clip position, and out 2.5 turns on the fuel screw. I've provided a couple 0 - 70 mph runs with each setup for comparison. I have the quiet insert and spark arrester installed in the muffler during this video. The open MRD Z-Pro is very loud. The quiet insert and arrester definitely take the edge off of it. I always ride with ear plugs in and with the additional baffling I am comfortable riding the bike. I can use my Sena and listen to tunes without issues. Over all I am pleased with the exhaust. The fit and finish are fantastic. I've seen folks complain about their MRD exhaust contacting the engine. This was not the case for me. The exhaust fits incredibly well - I had exactly zero fitment issues. Please leave a comment with any questions or concerns!
