Budget 2024 | Space Economy | Venture Capital Fund | UPSC - Daily Current News | Drishti IAS

Recently, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a fund of Rs 1,000 crore to promote the space economy through the budget. Let us tell you that this fund for the space economy will be established as a venture capital fund. It is worth noting that the Government of India aims to increase India's share in the global commercial space economy to 10% by 2030. Currently India has only 2 percent share in the global space market.
