APC Smart-UPS 3000 LCD Hot Swap Battery

Hot swapping the batteries in the APC Smart 3000i UPS isn't difficult. Simply open the lower front panel, unplug the first battery and remove, then the second and refit in reverse. You'll be asked if you've installed new batteries for the log.

It's worth testing your new batteries - APC UPS' usually do this once a month automatically.
