PFC Bradford Freeman, D-Day Veteran (Full Interview)
Private First Class Bradford Freeman was assigned to the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army in February 1944. On June 6, 1944 -- D-Day -- PFC Freeman parachuted into Normandy, experiencing the grueling combat of the "Longest Day." Later he would participate in Operation Market Garden and serve in Bastogne during the epic Battle of the Bulge during which he was wounded in the leg.
