This is the best after movie I have made yet :) NOT KIDDING! :)

I guess the biggest reason KIZMI stood out was amazing shows and VIOLINIST :)) Yes, there was a violinist playing during the day social dancing! That was freaking awesome!

Oh, and keep in mind, that I was/am focusing on workshop/day experience.

That's the main reason why I cannot say much about night part - except for shows.

For some reason I tend to enjoy preparties (thursday) and afterparties (sunday) more than main 5day, 6day parties. Less people, more space :)

Especially on these big festivals, which are visited by more than 1000 people.

As usual the choice of the song has special reason. Dj GhostFace was one of the teachers of the workshops, he had a nice show with Denise as well. And he's from Italy himself.

Oh...and when I heard the violin in that song, I knew I have a winner! Violinist was amazing in the festival!

★★★ Overall Festival Experience ★★★

It was a really well organised festival I must say. Venue was great and floor was really good!

Every day there was a special dress code and organiser team themselves made sure they had the craziest outfits :)

I loved that there were special show program as well as violinist was a nice surprise!

The only downside if you can call it one was how many people there were. Yeah, that's what happens with awesome events - everybody wants to go there! :)

So for that reason I didn't stay for long on Friday and Saturday parties, but loved Thursday and Sunday parties :)

Special note to ladies - friends I've been with were very very satisfied with the male dancers :)) Which is rare!! :) Wink wink! :)
★★★ Main Lessons and Takeaways From the Festival ★★★

✔ This was the first time I was on the festival with several good dancers from Latvia.

Finally I understood how valuable is the company. Because everybody was good, we could easily explain the moves to each other.

Learning was super accelerated! I am scared what would happen if we would hang out and learn together more often!!!

✔ Laurent & Albir was teaching a lot about musicality. Laurent stressed it again and again and gave truly advanced classes, which I appreciated.

He even made musicality competition, where I got kicked in the ass. I keep understanding the musicality concept better and better. It's the one thing that makes a great dance.

At first we all look for shiny acrobatics, cool moves, but they look super lame if they are not done in music.

Two people to learn musicality from - Laurent & Albir for guys, Adeline & Sara Panero for girls.

(GOLDEN ADVICE - TAKE IT) - Now I spend a lot of time watching their recent videos and try to copy their moves, their musicality. In that way I start to understand to which instruments their listen. Copy, replicate until you learn to do it on your own.

This is work in progress.

✔ Besides that we learned lots of cool moves, but now they count for nothing. Musicality is the key. The golden key to amazing dancing.

It's also super hard, it takes time to learn it. But rewards are amazing - music slowly comes alive as you understand it better and better.

★★★ In One Word ★★★

This festival has one word for me: MUSICALITY.

Don't overlook it... For that reason, you will notice this video is super musical :) I custom tailored all the videos to the song :)) Hope you will like it - THX!
