If we’re to be effective leaders, the status quo of the Church and the nation should concern us. Dysfunctional household dynamics, impending divorce, and unemployment are examples of situations that produce sad songs in our nations and our churches. When we’re solely focused on self, we’re walking in idolatry; however, God desires to be the mainstay in our lives. We’ve faltered God, yet He affords us mercy, which creates a boundary between us and judgment. Likewise, when we witness adversities in our nation and our church, it’s our responsibility to extend the same mercy and cry for the shifting of the atmosphere! May the Church stand in God’s love and mercy, refusing the consummation of our nation.
